Innovative New Service Touch from X2 Resorts

X2 Resorts Thailand, the design hotel brand of Astudo Hotel and Resort Management, proudly announces the launch of an innovative new guest service implementation at their resorts in Kui Buri (Hua Hin) and Koh Samui.

X2 Samui resort manager J. Paul Snow observed that “often guests forgot to print out their itinerary, or hadn’t kept a record of the resort contact details before travelling, resulting in a sometimes frustrating situation of being lost, delayed or one of many other troubles associated with travel”. This is increasing an issue as people travel to dream destination - somewhere they never been, and often remote. To make life easier for guests, X2 has implemented a pre-departure SMS providing last minute travel information.

There is no worse way to start a vacation then a stressful journey. According to company CEO Anthony McDonald, “This extra service is not only a personal welcome, but also indicates that your booking is 100% secured and in case of a delay or an emergency - something we hope you will never run into of course - it will give guests seamless communication directly with the resort and people who can assist them immediately”.

Astudos’ new initiative provides an SMS to guests twenty four hours before the guest arrives at the Resort providing them a booking confirmation, hotel contact details, the resort managers mobile phone number, and of course wishing them a pleasant and safe journey.

McDonald added that as a design hotel “X2 Resorts was always looking to do things a little bit different, in a way that is simple but truly appreciated by guests, and this new SMS service is just a small sample of such a difference”

Samui Scenery Video - Hin Ta Hin Yai

Hin Ta Hin Yai, respectively meaning Grandfather Rock and Grandmother Rock are probably the most photographed natural wonders of Koh Samui. Naturally shaped by the elements of water and wind, both rocks resemble the male and female genitalia. Without a doubt your holiday photos will bring up some interesting conversations back home amongst your friends and family. The myth tells that a local old couple got shipwrecked in the bay where both their bodies washed ashore and created these uniquely shaped rocks.

Located just a few kilometers north of X2 Resort Samui, the stones are one of the most famous tourist attractions on the island and during the weekend a popular place for the Thai locals to visit and relax.

There are plenty of nice little souvenir and gift shops, especially if you look for original hand crafted products made of Samui's coconut palm wood. Another typical Samui product you will find here is garamear, a coconut candy which consist of coconut, palm sugar and sticky rice.

And if you are not ready to leave yet, have a drink and some food in one of the small stalls, sit back and simply enjoy the tranquil scenery with a great ocean view.
